My Why...

Both of my Grandads passed from bowel cancer that spread and my Granny suffered and eventually passed from Dementia. It was extremely hard to watch their lives deteriorate so quickly, and then to see my mum do her absolute best to try and care for my Granny while mourning her dad.

Cancer and dementia are heartbreaking diseases and I know that every little bit helps! Together we can help Cancer Society and Dementia NZ to provide extraordinary support to patients and their families all over the country.

Cancer Society NZ and Dementia NZ help to provide support, transport, counselling, treatment and community engagement for patients and their families. Nobody deserves to suffer from these diseases but with support and love from others these charities can help to make a huge difference!
